Marvellous location in the area for the first time, welcoming staff, everything was awesome. This room was cosy and outstanding with a pleasant view of the mountains. Location: the hotel was right by hiking in the Highlands park and beautiful valley. Besides, the property was 4 km away from Doyles Bridge Pool.

Peaceful, comfortable, and cozy
I recently stayed at Cajun Cedar Log Cottages for a 3-night getaway with my husband. We were looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat to enjoy the beauty of Cape Breton, and this place exceeded our expectations.
As for drawbacks, the cabin was a bit small and could benefit from more lighting. However, these minor inconveniences didn't detract from our overall positive experience.

The staff went out of their way to provide exceptional hospitality, addressing any issues immediately. The location of this hotel is great, as it is close to the Margaree River area and in proximity to the National Park and green meadows. Moreover, the hotel features laundry facilities, and the parking was convenient.
Not obvious to find, but worth it once you do.

What a fantastic Thanksgiving vacation! the cabin was cozy and clean, and we enjoyed the stunning views of the fall foliage. the highlight of our stay was being able to bring our furry friend with us. the host was warm and welcoming, and the location was ideal for exploring nearby trails and nature reserves.
Though we loved the comfort of the cabin, we found that it was lacking in certain amenities such as a TV or WiFi. some aspects of the property seemed outdated and could benefit from a bit of refreshing.
